Hot-stick applied,
The LOLA is a novel Patent-Pending device for being able to apply a Lock-Out/Tag-Out to an electrical ground or other hot-stick applied device. This product is applied using a hot-stick to a grounding clamp or other device normally accessed with a hot-stick. This provides denial of access to another hot-stick once attached thereby preventing it's removal. The best part, however, is that the lock and tag remain accessible for inspection outside the approach boundary!
Extend and attach,
The extended hook goes into the eye of the ground clamp or similar device, and is free to swivel so once retracted it cannot cause the clamp to loosen.
Then retract,
On the other end, the holes on the controller allign when the hook is retracted, allowing locks and tags to be applied to keep the assembly secure, while keeping the locks and tags out of the approach boundary. This is because the connector can be provided as long as needed, up to 30 feet!
The Connector:
The connector assembly can be provided as long as needed so that your locks and tags are outside the approach boundary and at ground level for easy inspection. Also, they are made of materials that will not alow the device to become detached due to changes in temperature.
